Nate Bliton is a musician and hobbyist in many things, and he is a recent recipient of a Masters in Music Composition from Michigan State University. His work has been performed at conferences in Georgia and Mississippi, and he has performed in concert and popular settings playing his and others’ compositions on Viola, Violin, Piano, Accordion, Mandola, Guitar, Bass, Percussion and handmade electronic instruments. In his explorations in electronics and computer programming, his work has been featured in Make Magazine and he has had the opportunity to teach media arts from the Middle School to Collegiate levels as well as conducting workshops at the annual MIEM Teaching For Learning Conference. Still infected by his teenage hobbies as a dancer and professional athlete, Nate is currently exploring the connections between rhythm, motion and music and other media.
